Teach English to children, with a whole system behind you Available Now

You study English, linguistics or education, and your English is strong. Children need someone who can make it click. YAKKI gives you the lessons, the games, the checking and the reports, so from your very first learner you work like a tutor with years of experience behind them.

YAKKI is in alpha testing: for now everything is free. Small limits on quantities are possible.

Why start now

  • Teaching while you study is the best practice there is: real children, real progress, a real portfolio.
  • You choose your hours, online or face to face, around your timetable.
  • Your learners and your price: you build your own practice, not someone else’s.

Before your first learner: Polygon

Over a hundred games for reading, speaking, pronunciation and writing. In Polygon you play each of them yourself, at any level and on any topic, before you assign it. You walk into your first lesson knowing exactly what the child will see.

A lesson in minutes, not in an evening

  • Pick a topic, a text and games, and YAKKI builds the lesson for one learner or for a group.
  • Error review and homework are part of the lesson, not another evening of work.
  • The exercise stays in English, while the hint, the translation and the explanation reach the child in their own language. You do not need to speak Arabic or Russian to teach a child who does.

Between lessons, the learner keeps going

The child practises alone in the browser, and every answer in the games is checked at once. Your hour with the child goes to teaching, not to checking worksheets.

You see what the child really knows

After each lesson: a summary, statistics and the learner’s pedagogical matrix, showing which grammar rule already holds and which one keeps breaking. You stop guessing, and the parents see the progress too.

A method from real teaching, not from a template

The YAKKI methodology is led by Esther Chazon: twenty-five years of teaching English, selected as one of the Israel Ministry of Education’s “100 Teachers”. Lesson, going over mistakes, homework: the rhythm of someone who knows how children learn.

What stays yours

  • Your learners: you find them and you set your price. The families pay you; you pay us for the system.
  • What to teach, to whom and when is your call.

What we do not promise

We do not find learners for you, and this is not a job offer: you work independently. We give the system, you teach.

What we need from you

  • A few lines about yourself: what you study, your English, and whether you already have a learner in mind.
