For tutors
Run your teaching practice with YAKKI Available Now
YAKKI teaches English to children who do not have English at home. For a private tutor who teaches English to children. You do the teaching; YAKKI is where you prepare a lesson, assign it and see how it went.
Your learners, your lessons
- You have your own dashboard. You bring your own learners and add them yourself, each with a parent’s consent.
- You build a lesson from a topic, a text and games, and assign it to one learner or to a group. When they need it, you set error review and homework.
- After the lesson you see a summary, statistics and the learner’s pedagogical matrix: which rule is not holding yet.
- You set each learner’s interface language; the child does not switch it alone.
- Speech games give recommendations only; speech is not assessed automatically. Speech can be assessed by a live person — you.
- You talk to your learners’ parents yourself; if they want a change to the plan, they write to you.
Reports from your learners’ data In Development
A tool in your dashboard for preparing reports from your learners’ data. Whether to use it is up to you.
Dyslexia mode In Development
Free of charge. You switch it on for a learner who needs it.
Try it yourself first
Polygon is where you learn the games. Play a game yourself, at the level and on the topic you have in mind, before you assign it. Learners do not go into Polygon: you always assign the lesson.
How access works
You buy access in blocks of five learners. When you have more learners, you add another block. Separately, you buy a package of coins for yourself, and lessons are paid from it. Learners have no wallet of their own.
Prices on request.
Parental consent
Parental consent. You open each learner’s account, and only after a parent or guardian has given consent. Without that consent the child does not play. There is no guest access.
What YAKKI does not do
We do not find learners for you, and we do not make teaching decisions for you. What to teach, to whom and when is your call.
Browser and Android
The dashboard works in the browser. The Android app is in closed testing for tutors: Apply for testing
