Present: am/is/are

am, is, are: the linking words English needs when there is no other verb.

We are friends.

Look: are. In English, we can't leave it out!

A common mistake

Wrong: She my sister.

Right: She is my sister.

Don't forget the little word! We say: She is my sister.
